Description: Jean Lenfant was a noted French portrait engraver and publisher during the first half of the 17th century. This excellent work shows Nicolaus Blasset a well known French architect and sculptor who created religious altars and statues that still exist today in French churches. The skillful depiction of the subject's hair and the folds in the cape are noteworthy.
